Bloom #3 Campaign 9 Days to Go & Regina Body Paint Tutorial
over 2 years ago – Sun, Jul 25, 2021 at 11:06:55 PM

Bloom shirts are finally printing next week! Sorry for the delay on those.

Our Bloom 1-3 Campaign just reached 300 backers and has nine days to go! If you haven't already, be sure to punch your ticket for this leg of Regina's magical mystery trip. If we hit 393 backers everyone will receive a bonus surprise back issue from the Hero Tomorrow Comics catalog (that is already guaranteed to day 1 backers.)

Coloring of issue 3 is nearly complete with just one more page to go. Bloom takes considerably longer to color because I'm also adding Regina's body paint. I recently posted a Photoshop tutorial video showing that fun little process.

Thank you so much, and if you're near Dayton Ohio, I'll be at Gem City Comic Con this weekend. :)

BLOOM #2 Campaign ends tonight 10:3Opm EST

PUNCHLINE RELEASES NATIONALLY TODAY

The retail 32 page version of Punchline and the Vaude-Villains is in comic shops throughout the world today (not to be confused with the 48 page Kickstarter Collector's Edition.) Check out the funky retro variant cover by Jay Gonzo. We're planning to have him do a variant for every Punchline issue going forward. He's also doing a Bloom #3 cover.

Gonzo's Punchline cover is now available as a $4 add-on in the Bloom campaign which ends tonight at 10:30PM EST, and, as always, I'll sign 'em - no charge ;)

Bloom #2 Ends Tomorrow & Butch Mapa Sketches

BUTCH MAPA

It has warmed my heart to hear all the love coming to Butch Mapa for his art on Bloom. These tryout sketches are exactly why he got the gig. His Regina illustrations immediately made me feel like I was looking at a real person. Humanity in these characters is everything.

Thanks to everyone for making this happen! If you haven't yet, please climb in for the trip to issue 2 (shipping in June), and shares are most appreciated :)

Bloom #2 concludes in 36 hours.

Thank you thank you thank you...

Shirt Update & Review

BLOOM #1 REVIEW

REGINA SHIRTS

Shirts are printing by Wednesday and shipping Thursday and Friday. It was a bit of a challenge finding all the fabrics in the materials we wanted, but I really dig the way they came out. Thanks for your patience.

BLOOM #2 Campaign BONUS!

When we broke our backer record with Bloom #1 every physical order received a bonus back issue comic. We're very close to the pace to break that with Bloom #2, and if we do, another mystery back issue comic will be included with all rewards.
